Penn Carey Law Launches New Fellowship & Full-Tuition Scholarships

Alexander (L’1927), Penn Carey Law’s first Black female graduate and one of the first Black women in the U.S. to earn a Ph.D. in Economics. Dr. Alexander built a remarkable 50-year career as a lawyer, leader, and activist. This fellowship continues her legacy, supporting graduates who follow in her footsteps of advocacy and public service.

2. New Full-Tuition Scholarships

For incoming students with the greatest financial need, Penn Carey Law is launching full-tuition scholarships. These awards significantly expand the school’s need-based aid, ensuring that financial circumstances are not a barrier to accessing a Penn Carey Law education.
